As a special bonus gift for Daughter I booked tickets to the zoo. It reopened last week and I was quick enough to save three entry spots. It was busier than expected. We had to stand in line for fifteen minutes in front of the entrance despite the fact that everyone has to reserve a time slot and prepay for the tickets. Once inside it was pretty much OK. They created a one-way route and therefore saw some parts we hadn’t seen before. The weather was just perfect and Daughter really enjoyed seeing all the animals again. And some of the animals were more active than I’d seen them before. And others were still a bit confused with all the attention they got after three months of quietness. It was a wonderful feeling to experience something again as a family.
