I started watching Das letste wort (The final word) on Netflix. It’s about a woman who suddenly loses her husband. The series follows her while dealing with grief. In her own special (funny) way. In case you’re looking for a new series to watch, I recommend this one.
In our parents’ generation—or even in earlier incarnations of our own—the idea that someone in the Netherlands could recommend a German TV series to someone in Canada, with the hopes they could actually watch it, would have been absurd. But The Last Word is on Netflix. And now in my queue. Just in time, as I just finished a rewatch of Borgen.
It is still magic.
