Schiphol rules

Landed in Montréal and went through all the different moves to get to the lounge where we can wait, quietly, for our connecting flight to PEI. For me it’s midnight. For locals it’s six in the afternoon. While I don’t mind walking generally speaking, especially after seven hours in a confined space, the routing of passengers at this airport seems ludicrous. I lost count how many times I had to scan my boarding pass. If only airports would look better into their user experience. I also realise once again I’m spoiled living only half an hour drive from Schiphol, a hub that connects me to nearly every place on earth.
